Merrytime Bar has loads of pinball upstairs, pool tables downstairs (21+).

*Visit Video Horizons for movie rentals, and the shop below it to find cassette tapes

*Check out Seth the Magic Man at his Magic Shop downtown Astoria, he will probably show your kiddos some fun tricks!

*During the summer evenings catch “Shanghaied in Astoria” local play at Astoria Opry Co- fun for the whole family

*Astoria Ghost Tours- entertaining and educational

*Highlife Zip-line Tours- great experience! Axe throwing and snacks too

*At the Astoria Column explore the nearby woods for wooden airplanes people fly off the monument, then head up the column to send them off again

*Don’t miss the Goonies house, Free Willy house, Kindergarten Cop School, Short Circuit house, and much more movie info at the Oregon Film Museum (also Goonies jail)

*McMenamins in Gearhart has a small pub hidden in the golf range, free Putt-Putt and kid friendly.
